Pinnacle confident of Saints deal

The Matt Le Tissier-backed group entered a 21-day exclusivity agreement with Southampton Leisure Holdings at the end of May and are in negotiations with administrators Begbies Traynor with a view to taking over at St Mary's. Pinnacle have until Friday June 19 to complete the deal and Tony Lynam, the voice of the consortium, revealed they are on course to conclude a deal. He told The Daily Echo: "Thing are going really well and going to plan. What's in our hands is now being done."
