Perry admits to failings

Veteran Southampton defender Chris Perry admitted after the 2-2 draw with Burnley that condemned the club to relegation that the team had not been good enough to stay up.
The cash-strapped Saints only just avoided the drop last term and spent almost the whole of this season in the bottom three.
Former Tottenham and Wimbledon stalwart Perry said: "It's not a great day. We showed a lot of pride and passion against Burnley and maybe if we'd played a few more games like that this season we wouldn't be where we are.
"But unfortunately we haven't been good enough this year and we'll have to deal with it next season.
"The game was a microcosm of our season really. We had a lot of chances and didn't take them and Burnley scored on a couple of breakaways."
