Pardew unhappy with Saints show
Southampton boss Alan Pardew was not happy with his team's performance despite seeing them extend their unbeaten league run to six games with a goalless draw at Wycombe. After an impressive win at in-form Norwich on Saturday the Saints were brought down to earth by a Wycombe team fighting for their lives at the other end of the table."I wasn't really happy with a draw; we wanted to win the game," said Pardew."I thought we were better overall in the second half but we had three or four players in the first half that I was disappointed with."In the second half we were better but it was still way down on our performance against Norwich at the weekend."We haven't really created enough, maybe we need to look at playing a different type of football on this type of surface. Gary Waddock has put together a decent side and I think they will be okay."
