Pardew targets Leeds scalp

Southampton boss Alan Pardew is confident his side can bounce back from Saturday's disappointment at Tranmere when they host Leeds next weekend. Saints' already slim play-off hopes took another dent when they were beaten 2-1 by lowly Rovers at Prenton Park. They now lie 15 points off the top six and next up face a Leeds side battling for automatic promotion, but Pardew knows his men are capable of raising their game against the Yorkshiremen. "We have to bounce back against the best team in the league," said Pardew. "But we've proved against Norwich and against Huddersfield that we can beat the best, so we are looking forward to that."
