Saints looked on course for a point when Lee Barnard cancelled out Marlon Broomes' early opener, but Ian Thomas-Moore netted a late penalty to condemn Pardew's men to defeat after Dan Seaborne had impeded Gareth Edds.[LNB]Pardew said: "We did not get the breaks and certainly did not get any help from the referee. The referee had an influence on the game in a negative way for us.[LNB]"The boys are very disappointed and one or two of them were below their best.[LNB]"This was a game we wanted to win and we were expected to win, but events went against us, and we also missed some chances. We need to bounce back quickly.[LNB]"I thought we did enough in the game to get some return, but we were a bit ragged towards the end which is not like us."[LNB][LNB]
