Pardew salutes Saints performance
Saints are still bottom of the League One table, but Pardew is hoping they can start to move up after a strong showing.
"We were threatening before the Bristol Rovers game that we were going to do this and we've had a good win," said Pardew.
"I felt we bossed the first 10 minutes and then stepped up a gear in the first half and got our goals.
"We were comfortable in the second half and looked a good side throughout.
"In the past we haven't been calm and killed games off, but we did that and I'm very pleased with the team."
