Pardew: Our persistence paid off
Rahdi Jaidi grabbed an equaliser for the Saints deep in injury time after Scott Dobie had put the Cumbrians ahead after 69 minutes.[LNB]Pardew said: "We must have had 16 corners and we had so many chances that it was ironic their keeper had a magnificent game, yet made a mistake for our goal."[LNB]Pardew admitted: "Both goals were fortunate but that is six games unbeaten and this would have been a really harsh defeat. With that amount of pressure something needed to give and fortunately for us we got the chance and managed to take it.[LNB]"In the end persistence paid off."[LNB][LNB]
