Pardew has plans for Papa

Southampton boss Alan Pardew feels striker Papa Waigo could prove his secret weapon as the club enter a critical stage of the season. Saints travel to Exeter on Saturday looking to maintain their play-off hopes before the second leg of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy area final against MK Dons and the blockbusting FA Cup visit of south-coast rivals Portsmouth. Senegalese frontman Waigo has mostly been used from the bench since arriving at St Mary's but he has still hit six goals including the crucial second in last week's 2-0 win over Stockport. "Papa was excellent. He helps us by linking things up a little better, he's got that talent," said Pardew. "We have some big games coming up where Papa might feature and he has that talent that on his day he can take us up a level."
