Last season the Saints went into administration and were relegated to the third tier of English football for the first time in 50 years.[LNB]Pardew said: "There may be 12-16,000 fans who don't see us every week, so we need to draw them in and draw them back. Winning this would go some way towards doing that.[LNB]"For the chairman Nicola Cortese and the fans who have been absolutely sensational in their support while we've had tricky times, I hope that we turn up and play our best football because the support we've had has been brilliant."[LNB]Southampton have been installed as clear favourites for the Wembley showdown.[LNB]The Saints, contesting their first Johnstone's Paint Trophy final, will be returning to Wembley for the first time in 18 years.[LNB]The Saints, edged out 1-0 by Arsenal in the FA Cup final in 2003 at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, were beaten 3-2 by Nottingham Forest in the old Zenith Data Systems Cup final at Wembley in 1992.[LNB]Carlisle, who beat Leeds 6-5 on penalties in their two-legged Northern Area final, are one of the competition's most successful sides and on Sunday will be contesting their fifth final in 15 years.[LNB]The Cumbrians' only triumph was a 4-3 penalty shoot-out win over Colchester in 1997, while they have lost in three previous finals - 1-0 against Birmingham in 1995, 2-0 to Bristol City in 2003 and 2-1 against Swansea in 2006.[LNB][LNB]
