Midfielder misses out

Morgan Schneiderlin is out of Southampton's home game against Oldham. The midfielder's season has been brought to a premature end after he was sent off during Saturday's 1-0 win at Yeovil. Schneiderlin's second red card of the campaign means he starts a four-match ban which will rule him out of Saints' run-in. Lee Barnard is pushing to start after climbing off the bench to hit the late winner at Huish Park, and he could replace Schneiderlin in the line-up if boss Alan Pardew opts for a switch in formation. Defender Radhi Jaidi was among the substitutes at the weekend after a hamstring injury and should be involved again. Full-backs Wayne Thomas (calf) and Graeme Murty (ankle) are still missing.
