Le Tissier not ruling anything out

The Saints legend was part of the Pinnacle consortium put together by businessman Tony Lynam and the group looked set to move in at the League One club until they pulled out over an issue with the Football League regarding the club's 10-point deduction for entering administration. As a result, Swiss businessman Markus Liebherr bought the St Mary's club on Wednesday and has already earmarked talks with Le Tissier, who is not ruling out taking on a key position on the South Coast. "He (Liebherr) suggested we sit down in a little while, he'll get a few opinions off me," Le Tissier told Sky Sports News. "He knows he can rest assured that he gets an honest opinion out of me every time he speaks to me. "I never rule anything out. As I said right from the start, I didn't envisage myself as ever being a chairman until a few months ago when obviously I spoke to Tony and the guys from the consortium. It was something that came out of the blue and if it happens again, so be it."
