Lambert scoops Saints gong
Rickie Lambert has crowned a successful first season at Southampton by being named the club's player of the year.
The prolific frontman has hit 34 goals for Saints after arriving on the south coast from Bristol Rovers for £1million back in August.
Lambert will be presented with his award prior to Saints' final match of the season against Southend at St Mary's on Saturday.
