Lallana relishing Huddersfield test

Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana cannot wait for Saturday's big clash with Huddersfield.

Saints have finally shrugged off the malaise surrounding Alan Pardew's sacking at the start of the season and have gone five games unbeaten under new boss Nigel Adkins.

Lallana, fit again after a knee injury, was on target in the 2-0 win over Tranmere and is now looking forward to locking horns with the Terriers who, along with Southampton, were among the pre-season title favourites.

"We're five games unbeaten with back-to-back wins so we're going to go to Huddersfield full of confidence," said Lallana. "We are just concentrating on it game by game to get up the table."
