The 21-year-old midfielder, who is a product of the youth system, was worried as Saints' future appeared in jeopardy before the recent takeover. Lallana told the club's official website: "I've been at the club since I was 12 and was as worried as everyone else about what could have happened over the summer, but the club no longer needs to sell its best young players now so it's all looking brighter and everyone's really optimistic. "The club needed stability above everything else and the structure that is being put in place here has given us the chance to build for the future and get Southampton back to its rightful place. I can't wait for the new season to get under way and I'm 100% committed to Southampton." Lallana also praised new boss Alan Pardew, adding: "He's a great coach on and off the field and as players we're doing what we need to do. "He's brought his own ideas in and all of the squad are looking forward to learning as much as we can from him."
