It`s in our hands - Adkins

Southampton manager Nigel Adkins knows his side's destiny is in their own hands as they attempt to secure automatic promotion. While Brighton look odds on to take the League One title, second place is still up for grabs with Saints, Huddersfield and Peterborough all in the reckoning. Southampton currently lie in third, a point ahead of Posh and two behind Town, but with two games in hand on the Yorkshiremen. Adkins takes his side to Leyton Orient on Saturday looking for a sixth win in seven games to keep up the pressure. He said: "We`ve got to keep chipping away and win the games we`ve got in hand. We'll take it one game at a time and see where it takes us."
