Hammond set to face Posh

Southampton captain Dean Hammond should return to the starting line-up for the trip to Peterborough. The midfielder proved his fitness following a calf injury with a second-half run-out as a substitute during Tuesday's 2-1 win at Exeter. Winger Jonathan Forte, a deadline-day signing from Scunthorpe, will be added to the squad. Brazilian striker Guly do Prado missed out in midweek with a slight knock and will be checked over. Midfielder Adam Lallana has returned to training following a knee injury and could be on the bench, with manager Nigel Adkins wary of rushing him back too soon. Striker David Connolly is also in light training after undergoing a hernia operation but needs to build up his fitness.
