Hammond blow for Saints
Southampton captain Dean Hammond is set for a spell on the sidelines after picking up an injury during Saturday's 1-1 draw at Millwall.
The 26-year-old midfielder could be facing a fortnight out after suffering an Achilles problem 10 minutes before the interval at The Den.
"He's got an Achilles knock which might keep him out for a couple of weeks," said manager Alan Pardew.
"It's a blow because he is an important player for us."
