Exeter have made their third signing of the summer with the capture of former Southampton winger Jake Thomson. The 21-year-old, who was released by Saints at the end of last season, joins Artur Krysiak and Billy Jones in making the move to St James Park, much to his delight. "My agent called me over the summer and asked if I wanted to come down here and meet the manager," Thomson told the club's official website. "And after speaking to him (Paul Tisdale) for an hour or so I knew I wanted to come and join the club. "He impressed me straight away and I told my agent to sort it out and get me here as quick as he could. "I can't wait to start playing. It has been about six months since I played my last game so I just want to get on the field with the ball at my feet again. It cannot come quick enough."
