Forte in line for full debut

Jonathan Forte is pushing to make his full Southampton debut when Charlton visit St Mary's. The winger, a January signing from Scunthorpe, made his sixth appearance as a substitute against MK Dons on Saturday and scored twice to help Saints come from two goals down to win 3-2. Manager Nigel Adkins could now hand Forte his first start, possibly in place of Brazilian forward Guly do Prado. Teenage winger Alex Chamberlain is still sidelined with an ankle injury and French midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin misses out again with a knee problem. Midfielder Oscar Gobern has completed the three-match ban he received for his red card at Bournemouth last month and should be added to the bench.
