Fonte eyeing run of games
Southampton may be facing a fixture backlog, but defender Jose Fonte is relishing their hectic schedule.
The Portuguese centre-half does not agree with calls for a winter break despite the cold snap forcing so many postponements over the past couple of weeks.
"I think every other country does have a winter break and England is the only one that doesn't, but for me that is why it's special," he told Saints' official website.
"I've seen the fixtures now, though, and it's something like 17 games in two months so it's going to be busy."
