The trio have all left the club, but Wotte was encouraged by the way the rest of his squad responded to talks about next season.[LNB]He told the club's official website: "We spoke with everyone and almost all the players were very determined to stay and fight to get Saints back into the Championship as quickly as possible.[LNB]"Even players who are linked with other clubs told me they would prefer to play for Saints than sit on the bench for a big club, but of course you never know what's going to happen if someone comes in with an offer.[LNB]"However, we will not be extending Ryan Smith's contract, Romain Gasmi has returned to France now that his loan has finished and Rudi Skacel has also been released."[LNB]Under-18s goalkeeper Liam Hogan has also been released and Jamie Hatch and Jeffrey Imudia must also now look for new clubs. Michel Dolinajec and Lithuanian youngster Lukas Stiklakis have also been told they have no future at St Mary's.[LNB][LNB]
