Drawn does not blur Pardew`s vision

Alan Pardew insists his Southampton side stand a fighting chance of making the play-offs despite seeing their hopes suffer a dramatic late blow at Millwall. The game appeared to be petering out into a goalless draw before Rickie Lambert's deflected free-kick dropped past David Forde in the 92nd minute. But Liam Trotter fired past Kelvin Davis 30 seconds later to secure a late, late point for the Lions. Pardew said: "It's the second half of the season and it's important to push on as we still feel we can get to those play-off spots. "We got the break of luck to win the game and from there you expect to see the game out, so it's very disappointing to have drawn from that position. "I was disappointed we didn't control the game as well as we can. It's the second half of the season and it's important to push on as we still feel we can get to those play-off spots. "There's a lot of tough competition in the division and some very good football teams so we need to be up to the standard."
