Dickson on his way to Saints - Bees skipper
Brentford captain Kevin O'Connor expects Ryan Dickson to move to Southampton in the near future.
O`Connor believes Sam Wood is more than capable of filling the void should Dickson depart Griffin Park, with Saints believed to be heading the race for his signature.
The Bees skipper told the Sutton Guardian: "With Ryan looking like he is on his way, I think Sam has probably carved out a new position for himself."
He added: "I haven't heard anything for definite but, reading between the lines, I would be very surprised if Ryan didn't sign for Southampton. They are a big club and it would be a good stepping stone for him."
