Defenders doubtful for Saints
Southampton will be without defenders Radhi Jaidi and Wayne Thomas for the trip to Bristol Rovers.
Jaidi is still sidelined with a hamstring problem and fellow centre-half Thomas is not quite ready to return after a calf injury so Dan Seaborne will partner Jose Fonte at the back again.
Veteran full-back Graeme Murty is the only other injury absentee with ankle ligament damage.
David Connolly is now fully fit after a groin problem and will be pushing for a run-out after being an unused substitute during Saturday's 1-0 win over Charlton.
Fellow striker Rickie Lambert returns to the club where he scored 59 goals in three years before joining Saints at the start of the season.
