Defender doubt for Saints

Southampton have a doubt over defender Jon Otsemobor for the visit of Swindon. The right-back limped out of Saturday's victory over Leeds in just the 15th minute after picking up a knock and he will face a late check. Otsemobor was replaced by Wayne Thomas at St Mary's and he would be the likely candidate to fill in again should Otsemobor not make it. Lee Holmes is still struggling with a groin problem, but is not too far away from a return to action, while veteran full-back Graeme Murty is unlikely to play again this season after undergoing ankle surgery last month. The Saints' victory over Leeds saw a return to winning ways after last week's defeat by Tranmere, but a late surge for the play-offs remains unlikely as they remain 16 points adrift of the top six.
