Club pay respects to Liebherr

Southampton players, staff and around 300 supporters paid their respects to owner Markus Liebherr on Wednesday. An hour-long memorial service took place at St Mary's church, where the south-coast club was formed 125 years ago. Liebherr died suddenly last week at the age of 62. The Swiss billionaire bought Southampton in July 2009, taking the club out of administration and saving them from the threat of extinction.
