Southampton manager George Burley is delighted to see striker Grzegorz Rasiak returning to the sort of form that made him a hit at Derby County.
The 27-year-old Poland international has scored four goals in five games this season, having joined the Saints last season on loan, before ending a disappointing stint with Spurs for good in the summer.
He had previously netted 19 goals in 45 appearances for Derby, under the charge of current Saints boss Burley.
"That's four he has scored so far this season which is great," Burley told the Daily Echo after the 1-1 draw with Preston.
"His finishing is as good as it was at Derby.
"He has scored four goals in five league games and that is not a bad record for a striker. It is top-class striking.
"If he can continue with that ratio I'd be well pleased.
"He was keen to come here and work with me again. Sometimes it can bring that spark back."
