Brazilian to miss Saints promotion party

Guly do Prado looks set to miss Southampton's final game of the season against Walsall. The Brazilian attacker sat out Monday's win over Plymouth with the leg injury he suffered at Brentford last Saturday and is not expected to be fit. With Lee Barnard still sidelined with an ankle injury, veteran striker David Connolly is poised to partner Rickie Lambert in attack again. Teenage winger Alex Chamberlain is close to being fit after an ankle injury, but with Saints assured of promotion barring an unlikely goal difference swing, he will not be risked unnecessarily. Full-back Dan Harding could return after a hip injury while midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin (knee) and wideman Lee Holmes (ankle) were back in the squad against Plymouth after lengthy spells out and should be involved again.
