Blades target hints at Saints stay

The Blades have reportedly made an undisclosed bid for the 22-year-old Saints midfielder, but Southampton are still waiting to exit administration, with takeover group Pinnacle carrying out due diligence. Surman told BBC Radio Solent: "I haven't thought about it too much until it actually moves forward. Until the takeover at Saints goes through, then we're in a bit of limbo. "When a serious bid comes in then that's when you have to review your situation, but we're not at that stage yet. "At this stage I haven't thought any further than going back to Southampton for pre-season on 22 June."
