Barnard banned

Managerless Southampton will be without Lee Barnard and Adam Lallana for the trip to Swindon. Striker Barnard misses out as he is serving the second game of a three-match ban for his sending-off against the Robins in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy last week. Midfielder Lallana faces around six weeks on the sidelines after undergoing an operation on his injured knee. Full-back Frazer Richardson, the summer signing from Charlton, is still recovering from a dislocated shoulder but hopes to finally make his debut some time next month. Defender Dan Seaborne (foot) and winger Lee Holmes (groin) remain doubtful. Saints have lost both games since Alan Pardew was sacked last month, the 3-0 defeat by Swindon followed by Saturday's 2-0 reverse against Rochdale.
