Antonio targets play-offs

Southampton midfielder Michail Antonio has set his sights on gatecrashing the play-offs after his Wembley fairytale in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final. Antonio, 20 last Sunday, scored the Saints' fourth goal in a 4-1 success over Carlisle to cap a birthday he will never forget, just 17 months after being plucked from non-league football. Antonio, on loan from Reading until the end of the season, said: "To come to Wembley and score a goal - I reckon it's the best birthday in the world. Hands down, there's nothing that can touch that. It's the best birthday I've had. This will never be topped. "When I was at Tooting & Mitcham I used to play in front of 500 people. Then I came here and there were 32,000 when we played against Exeter and Pompey at St Mary's and now we played in front of 74,000." He added: "This is going to give us a big boost to show that we can make it to the play-offs and we're only 12 points off now. "We have got to give it a good push and it will be a nice challenge. In football it's always about the challenge because it wouldn't be fun if it was all easy."
