Adkins nuts about Brazilian

Southampton manager Nigel Adkins saluted Brazilian substitute Guly Do Prado after the 1-1 draw at Yeovil. Do Prado hit his first goal for Saints after 57 minutes before Adam Virgo earned the hosts a point from the penalty spot. Adkins said: "It was very difficult for him. He doesn't know the language and he comes from a different country. We need to allow him time to settle in. He is obviously a quality player and he realises that you have to work hard off the ball as well. "I want the team to pass the ball with purpose and go forward. They should be aware of that. We should have controlled the game. "With the quality we have got we should do better with it. It is a work in progress. I know how I want the team to play and the lads will soon realise that. "We haven't got beat and that's a positive. We should have come away with a clean sheet and three points."
