France midfielder Marvin Martin signed a fresh one year deal with Sochaux on Monday linking him to the club until 2015.
"I am very happy to re-sign, Sochaux after all is the club where I started. We had good talks, we reached an agreement and they (the club's board) made an offer," said Martin.
"I'm comfortable at Sochaux, this is my fourth year as a professional, I know everyone and things are going well with my new coach (Mehmed Bazdarevic)."
The 23-year-old made a positive impression on his debut for France in June, scoring twice against Ukraine in a friendly.
The Paris-born creative playmaker, who emerged from Sochaux's youth academy, has five international caps to his name.
