It wasn't Eze for The Rebels, but they did it

SLOUGH Town overturned a two goal deficit against Kettering Town in front of 2,331 at Latimer Park thanks to three second half goals.

With the crowd queuing for 90 minutes before kick off, the Rebels were always going to be battling the tremendous home support and finding themselves 2-0 down at half time didn't help either.

A 12th minute own goal by Slough's George Short followed by an emphatic header by Kettering favourite Henry Eze on 22 minutes gave the majority of the crowd much to celebrate as the Poppies were fully in control. But Slough had other ideas......

Two second half goals by Johnnie Dyer saw the Rebels back level on the 65th minute before James McClurg struck the winner for the Berkshire outfit, finding the net with just thirteen minutes to go.

Kettering's tremendous run of ten consecutive wins had come to an end as Slough returned to the Southern League Premier Division in a game which wasn't easy, but they did it!
