Worrall stays with Shrews

Midfielder David Worrall has extended his loan stay at Shrewsbury Town until the end of the season.

Worrall, 18, joined the Shrews from West Bromwich Albion last month and has made six appearances for the League Two side.

"David's loan finishes this week and I've been pleased with what we've seen from him," manager Paul Simpson told the club's official website.

"I've spoken to West Brom with regards to what they'd like to do and they're happy for us to keep David.

"I think he's enjoying his time here and being around first-team players and playing first-team football.

"He's shown his enthusiasm and guile on the pitch and has been a good addition to our squad."
