Shrewsbury Town have signed out-of-favour Bristol Rovers striker Richard Walker on a season-long loan.
The 30-year-old helped the Pirates gain promotion from League Two via the play-offs two years ago, but dropped down the pecking order with Rovers last season.
Shrews boss Paul Simpson told the club's official website: "I'm really looking forward to getting him involved and working with the rest of the players and hopefully showing the goalscoring form that I think he can show.
"He's not the quickest forward, but he is fantastic at getting balls rolled into his feet around the box and twisting and turning.
"He has an eye for a goal and gets himself into good goalscoring positions and he's the type of player you need to have."
