Turner thrilled with vital win

Shrewsbury boss Graham Turner was all smiles after his promotion-chasing side beat his former club Hereford 2-0 at Edgar Street.Turner, who was in charge at Hereford for 15 years, admitted his side were not at their best but insisted that three points were all that mattered as they moved back up to third in the table.James Collins put the Shrews in front in the 28th minute, with Tom Bradshaw claiming the second in the 55th minute."We could have played better but the end result was the most important thing for us," said Turner."The lads had to work very hard for it - there was a little period in the first half before we scored when I thought Hereford were getting on top."But we weathered that and the game really turned our way after the first goal. It was hard work for the players in the sunshine but obviously we needed the three points and they've come along."
