Turner: It got embarrassing
Shrewsbury manager Graham Turner was disappointed with the defending during the 3-0 defeat against promotion rivals Bury, although he insisted his side were on the wrong end of key moments in the game.Goals from Andy Bishop, npower League Two's top-scorer Ryan Rowe and Steven Schumacher did the damage, but the Shrews had enough chances of their own.Turner said: "There were defining moments in the game. I felt we had a good start to the match and we passed it better than we have for some time. A defining moment was when a great shot from Jon Taylor came back off the bar and Matt Harrold followed it in and hit the top of the bar."We were poor defensively for their first goal but started the second half reasonably well before the second goal has further set us back."At 2-0 we hit a post with Nicky Wroe and if we had got it back to 2-1 it lifts the crowd, it lifts the players and puts them a little bit on edge. "But they are a good team going forward and we had a job coping with them at 2-0 with their tails up. In the end it was slightly embarrassing for the last 15 minutes or so and the lad's smashed a free-kick in, a terrific strike."
