Simpson vows to keep Holt

Paul Simpson insists there is no chance of Grant Holt being sold this summer. Colchester United had an offer for the former Rochdale striker rejected by Simpson earlier in the week and the Shrews boss hopes that is the last he hears about the matter. He told the club's official website: "Grant Holt isn't for sale and will be staying with Shrewsbury Town. "At this football club we're very fortunate to be in the position where financially we don't have to sell." Simpson has also revealed that Steve Leslie has signed a new contract while Chris Humphrey, Omer Riza and Kelvin Langmead are expected to pen new deals later this week. However, Darren Moss has rejected the offer of a new contract and will be leaving the club.
