Shrewsbury Town boss Paul Simpson has admitted that trying to bring in players to improve his squad this summer will be a tough task.
Simpson is desperate to bolster his squad in the coming months, with Town having finished a dismal 18th in League Two this season.
He told the Shropshire Star: "I'm not being disrespectful to League Two, but you don't get players from League One and the Championship jumping at the chance to come down another division.
"We may have to be patient. If you jump in early and spend all your money, the better ones may come up later in the summer.
"Hopefully we can bring the players in to improve the squad and make us a better footballing team and a better team for the supporters."
