Shrewsbury Town boss Paul Simpson has confirmed his interest in signing former Brighton striker Jake Robinson.
The 22-year-old, who spent the second half of the campaign just ended on loan at Aldershot Town, was released by the Seagulls last month after scoring 22 goals in 148 first-team appearances for the club.
"Robinson is a player I've wanted before," confirmed Simpson.
"I've spoken to his agent - but no more than that. We didn't talk about wages or anything like that."
