Shrews snap up three

Shrewsbury Town boss Gary Peters has wasted little time reshaping his squad following their play-off disappointment after completing a hat-trick of signings.
The Shrews lost Saturday's Wembley final to Bristol Rovers, but have snapped up goalkeeper Glyn Garner from Leyton Orient, defender Darren Kempson from Crewe and midfielder Marc Pugh from Bury.
Peters has already agreed deals to sign Crewe's former Shrews defender Darren Moss and also David Hunt from Northampton Town.
"It's been a very successful day and I can now announce a couple of other signings to add to Darren Moss and David Hunt," he told the club's official website.
"We've now signed three more players and have an agreement with another player that he will sign when he returns from holiday.
"The final one we have done and is all in writing but the lad is on holiday and he will sign for us, but as I'm always a cautious person I won't announce it until we have signed him.
"That is our summer work done and the main targets we set out to sign we have managed to sign.
"It's the sort of thing that gets you hungry for next season and takes the disappointment of Saturday away."
Meanwhile, Peters has revealed contract negotiations with Dave Edwards, Ryan Esson and Andy Cooke remain ongoing.
