Shrews snap up Labadie

Young West Bromwich Albion midfielderJoss Labadie has moved to League Two side Shrewsbury Town on a one-month loan.

The central midfielder, who is a regular for the Baggies reserve team, has joined Town on an emergency 28 day loan.

Both clubs are expected to review the situation then, with an extension to that deal being a possibility.

Shrews manager Paul Simpson says he expects the 19-year-old to: "add a different option to the centre of our midfield".

Speaking to the club's official website, Simpson added: "He's a player who is highly regarded at Albion.

"Joss will come in and train with the players ahead of the trip to Bradford (on Saturday) and will then go into the squad for the game."
