Shrewsbury Town manager Paul Simpson has snapped up Michael Barnes and Martin Riley ahead of Thursday evening's loan deadline.
Barnes joins the Shrews from Manchester United while Martin Riley arrives from Wolves.
"I've signed Michael Barnes on loan until the end of the season and, if he's what we're looking for, then we'll look to try and do something with him in the summer," Simpson told Town's official website.
"He's an exciting player and has got great pace about him which I think we're lacking a little bit.
"I've only seen Martin Riley play in one reserve game and seen him training over the couple of weeks I've been here.
"But I've seen enough that tells me that I want to keep and eye on him and take a closer look so we've signed him on non-contract forms until the end of the season."
