Shrews miss out on loan deals

Shrewsbury Town boss Paul Simpson has confirmed that he has been frustrated in his attempts to bring in a couple of new players to boost his squad.
Simpson had hoped for success in the loan market, but has so far been unable to complete a signing.
He told the Shropshire Star: "I made a few enquiries on Monday morning, but nothing has come from them.
"We will keep working to try and bring people in.
"We definitely need some more bodies in here and hopefully we can get someone in if I think it's going to improve us."
