Shrews duo in new deals

Shrewsbury Town manager Gary Peters is relieved that influential duo Andy Cooke and Neil Ashton have penned new contracts with the club.
After losing in the League Two play-off final last term, Peters is eyeing another promotion push this season although admits that his squad is currently wafer-thin.
"With Neil I don't think there was any doubt that he wouldn't sign," Peters told the Shrews' official website.
"Cookey has also decided to stay at the club and that's great news for everybody.
"With Neil you've got a three in one player as he plays left-back, he can play left midfield and he can play centre midfield and it does give us a decent fight for places.
"At this moment in time we have 14 outfield players as Michael Symes and David Hunt are injured at the moment and we have long-term injuries with Luke Jones and Ben Davies.
"Fourteen outfield players is just enough, so all of our players who are here this season will be well involved in the team."
