Shrews bring in Hunt

Shrewsbury Town manager Gary Peters has snapped up David Hunt after the 24-year-old midfielder turned down a new contract with Northampton Town.
The former Crystal Palace and Leyton Orient player moves to the promotion-chasing Shrews after playing 84 games in just over two years with the Cobblers.
"We've brought in David Hunt on a two-year deal after he turned down a new contract offer with Northampton," Peters told Shrewsbury's official website.
"He's 24 so available on a Bosman. He's young, strong, athletic and the right type of player to join our squad.
"He played against us for Northampton and played a big part in them getting promoted into League One.
"I've known about him for a while and have been keeping an eye on him and it's great news that he's agreed to come and join us.
"One thing about David is he has an excellent long throw, probably longer than Stirling of MK Dons. Though that's not the reason we've brought David in, he's been signed for his footballing ability first."
