Shrewsbury Town manager Gary Peters has hinted that striker Glynn Hurst could earn a quickfire first-team return after a superb loan spell at Bury.
Hurst netted six goals in five games for the Shakers and did more than enough to impress Peters.
He told the Shropshire Star: "Glynn has got six goals in five games and there is nobody in the country who has done better than that, apart from maybe Jamie Forrester for Lincoln.
"Bury are disappointed at losing him and they wanted to keep him up there for a lot longer.
"We sent him out on loan because he wasn't match fit, wasn't in our team and his confidence wasn't good.
"It's all about timing sometimes and Glynn has just come off a good run at a time when we have lost two league games on the trot."
