Murray concern for Shrews

Shrewsbury Town boss Paul Simpson is hoping to get Paul Murray firing on all cylinders, despite the midfielder scoring a crucial winner in the 1-0 victory at Exeter City.

Murray struck a fine goal from long-range to make it two wins out of the for the Shrews in League Two, but Simpson says there is more to come.

He commented: "He's got great quality with his left and right feet and he showed that.

"I would say he's probably only playing at 60-65 per cent of his fitness at the moment. There is a concern there.

"There is a need to get it right and we need to get to the bottom of his Achilles problem and we will do this week.

"We will send him for a scan on Monday because we haven't seen the best of him yet."
