Injury blow for Shrews midfielder

Shrewsbury midfielder Benjamin van den Broek is facing a lengthy lay-off after breaking his ankle.The 22-year-old, who has appeared as a substitute in each of the Shrews' five league games this season, is expected to be out for six to eight weeks. He suffered the fracture during a reserve match against Preston North End on Wednesday. Boss Graham Turner told the club website: "The news comes as a blow to us all and I do feel sorry for Benji."
